We spent the entire day yesterday at Stone Mountain Park. Zachary has been on Spring Break all week. Monday, he went to the Zoo with Grandma. Tuesday, he went to Jungle Jump (a moonwalk place) with Granny. Wednesday, his class at school went bowling. Thursday, he went with Granny and Papa to Babyland General to see Cabbage Patch Kids be born and on to Helen for the remainder of the day. We had to end Friday with a bang, so we rounded up Mark, April, Andrew and Morgan for the day and hit the park.

Never would we have guessed all that we could accomplish in one day. In a matter of 12 hours, we saw the 4-D Monster Truck movie, went to the Great Barn, saw the Monster Trucks, went to the petting zoo, toured the Antebellum area, rode the riverboat, rode the paddle boats, climbed the mountain, rode the Skylift back down, played on the lawn for about an hour, met the Veggie Tales, rode the train and ended the day with the Laser Show.

Whew! What a day. We had a blast and we returned home exhaused. It was all worth it.

Stone Mountain is celebrating 25 years of the Laser Show this year. Marty and Allison have each been at least 18 of the last 25 years. This year is by far the best. It is well worth the trip to make the drive.

Here's a few pictures from our Day of Fun:

Today's Bible Verse:

Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
